Crom’s Commentary: Joe Biden’s Increasingly Strange COVID Policies and Vaccines for Children

Live from Music Row Wednesday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. –  host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael in studio for another edition of Crom’s Commentary.

Leahy: Well, it is that time of the day again, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for Crom’s Commentary.

Carmichael: Michael, the COVID policies of the Biden administration are getting to be stranger and stranger. So I’ve been doing a lot of digging. And this is the newest one where they’re trying with the Biden administration.

And this is unfortunate because I believe that the pharmaceutical companies have now become kind of fully owned subsidiaries of the federal government. It’s kind of a shame.

But there’s so much money tied up in the relationship between the pharmaceutical companies and the government and also regulations and FDA approvals and all this other stuff. And so when you have an administration that’s as corrupt as the Biden organization is, they make demands of pharmaceutical companies.

And pharmaceutical companies have to choose between their shareholders and their employees and the success of their company or standing up to the Biden administration and destroying all that.

The Biden administration is determined to force vaccinations on children aged five through 11. And so they put out statements like this that in the last twelve months, the number of children in school who’ve been hospitalized has tripled.

Okay, what does that mean? It might have gone up from one to three. And the fact of the matter is it’s gone up from a few thousand to three times a few thousand. But the number of deaths in children between five and 11 since COVID has started is 138 deaths.

More children have died from drowning in that period of time. The number of deaths from COVID for ages five through 11 isn’t even in the top ten. And in a related story, there’s a wonderful story in The Epoch Times titled: Health Care Workers Speak Out on Why They Would Rather Lose Their Jobs Than Take the COVID-19 Vaccine.

Some of them it’s for religious reasons, but for others, it’s for completely medical reasons where they have observed, especially teenagers, younger people who are going into the hospital because of the vaccine, and they’ve seen other people who’ve had terrible reactions to the vaccine.

Does that mean that people shouldn’t take the vaccine? No, it doesn’t mean that. If you’re an older person and I fit into that category, I took the vaccine because I looked at the risks and the rewards for somebody at my age, even though I’m in very good health, I looked at that and I said, I’m probably better off taking the vaccine.

But when somebody who’s a very healthy teenager asks me and I have people in that age range, ask me, what do I think? I said, well, I think you need to look at the data and determine whether or not the risks of vaccine for you are greater than the rewards.

And in the case of children five through 11, it’s obvious. It is obvious that unless there are pre-morbidities and there are some children five to 11 where the vaccine is appropriate. But it’s a very small percentage.

And so forcing children to take the vaccine at age five to 11 is just terrible public policy. And it’s not about health, it’s about politics and about power. And this is why this is so important is that Biden shows up at these events for McAuliffe and he doesn’t wear a mask, and everybody around him is wearing a mask.

Then he speaks to the people, and then he coughed into his right hand and then he goes and shakes hands with people. Well, is Biden now a super spreader? I think, first of all, I think coughing into your hand and shaking hands with people is disgusting.

But he does that. And there are a number of clips of them doing it. There are now more and more clips of Biden, for example, walking into a restaurant and all the staff and all the people with him are wearing masks. But Joe Biden is not wearing a mask.

This epitomizes the hypocrisy and the nastiness and evilness, quite frankly, of this administration’s determination to force people to bend the knee to very bad public policy all in the name of government power. This is a terrible thing. And the governor’s race in Virginia might give us an indication as to whether or not that will stay.
